We provide Touch and Pediatric Massage to compliment to other therapies such as OT, PT, and Speech therapy.

What is pediatric massage and touch therapy? It is an integrative form of therapy that uses hands-on manipulation techniques that incorporate tactile stimulation, sensory integration, and nurturing touch to address the specific needs of the child.

Children require tactile stimulation from a variety of sources in order to fully develop their body, mind and spirit. Human beings thrive on touch. It is the very first of our senses to appear in utero, and it is the sense which is the most developed at birth.

All of our senses depend upon touch in order to process valuable sensory information. Children who are having difficulty with sensory processing may show symptoms of irregular behaviors, changes in mood, lack of communication (both verbal and non-verbal), irregular sleeping patterns or difficulty sleeping, aversion to textures or being touched, and difficulties regarding feeding and appetite. Our pediatric touch therapy services not only address these specific concerns, but also provide children with a foundation of stability and attachment to help them grow up healthy and happy. The idea of touch is very simple, yet so powerful in what in conveys.
